Habu is an audio-player that automatically sorts all the music on your smartphone based on moods. After installation, the app uses Gracenote – the world’s largest database of music information – to analyze the songs on your device.

Your tracks are then graphically sorted—ranging from ‘positive’ to ‘dark’ on the y-axis, and ‘calm’ to ‘energetic’ on the x-axis—in circles on a grid. Using these categorizations, users can choose to play music that fits with how they’re feeling at that point of time. Habu does a decent job of sorting music, and is often spot on with its classification. Interestingly, you can also use Habu to analyze your favourite music to learn about yourself, whether you’re a happy, energetic person or the sombre and melancholy sort.

Alibaba Group Enters The Realm Of Mobile Games

Alibaba Group said on Wednesday it will launch a mobile gaming platform in a bid to grow the attractiveness of its mobile ecosystem that already includes mobile messaging and mobile shopping apps. China’s mobile games market is booming, worth a cool RMB 11.2 billion in 2013, up almost 247 percent from a year ago, according to official statistics. The number mobile gamers in China have also soared, up 248 percent to 310 million, representing 63 percent of the total online gamer base.

Google is building Chrome OS straight into Windows 8

Google unveiled its Chrome Apps initiative recently to launch apps that exist outside of the browser and extend its reach into more of a platform, but it looks like the company has a whole lot more planned. Over the past few weeks, Google has been updating its developer version of the Chrome browser to run what's essentially Chrome OS within Windows 8's "Metro" mode.

Chrome traditionally runs on the desktop in Windows 8, but you can set it to launch within the Windows 8 Start Screen into a special "Metro-style" mode. The new updates are very different from the existing stable channel version of Chrome in Windows 8 that simply presents a full-screen browser. In the latest dev channel release the UI and functionality is identical to Chrome OS. There's a shelf with Chrome, Gmail, Google, Docs, and YouTube icons that can be arranged at the bottom, left, or right of the screen. Like Chrome OS, you can create multiple browser windows and arrange them using a snap to the left or right of the display or full-screen modes. An app launcher is also available in the lower left-hand corner.

Dropbox is a file hosting service operated by Dropbox, Inc., headquartered in San Francisco, California, that offers cloud storage, file synchronization, and client software.

Dropbox allows users to create a special folder on each of their computers, which Dropbox then synchronizes so that it appears to be the same folder (with the same contents) regardless of which computer is used to view it. Files placed in this folder also are accessible through a website and mobile phone applications.

How do I sync files between computers?

Syncing your files between all of your computers, smartphones, and tablets is what Dropbox is all about. All you have to do is install the Dropbox desktop application and sign in using the same login on all your devices.
If you've already installed Dropbox, simply adding files to your Dropbox folder will automatically sync the file to your Dropbox, which means you can open it from any other computer, smartphone, or tablet that also has Dropbox installed.
If you'd rather sync some files with other people on other Dropbox accounts, that's easy too; just create a shared folder instead.

Install the Dropbox app

Start by downloading Dropbox on each computer, smartphone, and tablet you want to sync with.
When installing, you will be prompted to either sign in or create a new account. You only need one account no matter how many devices you want to keep in sync.
Once Dropbox is installed, you'll notice a new Dropbox folder on your hard drive. Add files to your Dropbox folder, and Dropbox will automatically watch them and make sure they are in sync. You can now access your files through the Dropbox website.
Once you have installed the application on each of your computers using the same Dropbox login, your files will appear in the Dropbox folders of those computers as well.

How to delete files permanently from your Hard Drive

Do you know that if you delete the unwanted files does not mean it deletes permanently from your systems or rather it goes in to your recycle bin and from there one can delete the files which does not mean it exits from your computer.

Now you can manually delete the temporary files by going into the folder "C:\WINDOWS\system32\dllcache" and deleting everything. Also, go into the folder "C:\WINDOWS\temp" and delete any old files.

You can also use the Disk Manager to clean up unwanted files. Go to the Start menu, select Run and type "cleanmngr" into the Search bar. That will launch Disk Cleanup. Then select the drive. Let it scan and clean up the drive. The cleaner is a last resort, because it will not get everything.

Insert files using Google Drive in Gmail

If you'd like to send a file in Gmail like a photograph or word document, you can either attach the file from your computer, or insert the file into your message using Google Drive.

Why should I insert using Drive instead of attaching a file?

Here's how to insert a file using Drive when you're composing a message:

Hover over the plus icon at the bottom of the compose window, which will open the insert menu. (Remember, you need to be using Gmail's new compose and reply experience to insert files using Google Drive).
Click the Google Drive icon . In the window that appears, you can upload a file to Google Drive, as well as navigate to or search for files you've stored in Drive. For files stored in Drive, select the checkboxes next to the files you want to insert. If you don't have any files in Drive, visit drive.google.com to either create, sync, or upload them.
Click the Insert button.

Gmail then adds a link to your message so recipients can click the link to view your file.
When you send the message, Gmail checks to see if your recipients have access to the file and will prompt you to adjust the sharing settings on the file(s) you've inserted, if needed.

If you have used the Readability or Evernote Clearly add-ons earlier, this will be familiar except that the focus is on saving printing costs.
