Reduce your Print Costs with Adobe LeanPrint

Do you print web pages? Word documents? PDFs? A lot of them? Adobe offers a relatively inexpensive utility called LeanPrint that will help reduce your printing costs by smartly optimizing the layout of the printed page such that it consumer less ink and paper.
Adobe LeanPrint is available for Microsoft Windows and works with Microsoft Office applications and all popular browsers including Chrome and IE. It is a software-only solution and thus can be used with any printer.
Adobe LeanPrint
LeanPrint minimizes whitespace in your document while maintaining readability.
When you print a document using the Print wizard (Ctrl+Alt+P), LeanPrint offers you two printing modes – Super Saver and Toner Saver. The former mode transforms your document into a more compact multi-column layout (similar to a newspaper) while maintaining readability. The Super Saver mode saves both paper and toner.
In the Toner Saver mode, the layout of the original document isn’t altered so you don’t save any paper but it cuts down the ink toner consumption. This can be done by reducing the intensity of the toner or by converting color fills into patterns.
In the case of web pages, LeanPrint removes all the extraneous information – like backgrounds images, advertisements, sidebars and footers – before sending the web page to the printer. If you have used the Readability or Evernote Clearly add-ons earlier, this will be familiar except that the focus is on saving printing costs.

Other than Word Documents, the LeanPrint plugin can also optimize your Excel sheets and PowerPoint slides for printing. You can easily see your toner and paper savings in the LeanPrint window itself or switch to the dashboard view for tracking your printing history and overall savings.
A single user license of Adobe LeanPrint is available for $20 and you may also download a free trial version of the LeanPrint software from Adobe.com that will be valid for 30 days.

The Real Happiness.

Hi Folks, We always find happiness outside in terms of prosperity, achievements, victory, honour, medals, status and monetary gains. But these are all vanishableand perhaps these happiness are always combined with the other dark side of depressions and saddness.

Why not to find happiness which gives utter peace and comforts and which always remains permanent in youir whole life not to say but after your death also. It is one saying that "FAME DIES BUT COURTESY NEVER DIES".

But how this happiness comes from, this comes from within, insight from our heart, soul and mind. When mind corealtes with your heart and in turn your heart co related to your soul and when each of one co relates with each other then the real and true happiness comes from within. We have to be very natural, pure both from inside and outside.

We find people who are always good and pretty from outside but inside there lies an enemity and turbulent. Todays men are totally different from both within and outside.Your Deeds has to go for what you think and what you do. There should be conformity in doing and thinking.

So, the happiness is creative and it is created from inside by doing good deeds and to become pure both from inside and outside.

Adobe Photoshop CC Proves That The Cloud Isn’t A Cure-All Refuge From Software Piracy

Adobe released Photoshop CC this week, as part of its Creative Cloud-only revamp of the entire Creative Suite of software products it offers. The new version of Photoshop offers some exclusive new features, which I’ve covered previously, but the cloud-based and subscription nature of the program were seen by many as a way of counteracting the rampant piracy that greets each new edition of Adobe’s software.
Fast-forward a couple of days, and Photoshop is encountering the same old problems it has always had, thanks to a pirated version hitting the web only one day after its broad release.

The pirated version has some trade-offs like a lack of cloud-based functionality tied to creative portfolio network and recent Adobe acquisition Behance, as well as other CC services, but it’s functional enough for most. So is Adobe’s grand cloud experiment a failure, at least in terms of deterring pirates? Yes and no.
On the one hand, Adobe is shifting more of its services and feature to the cloud, which is accessible only with a legit subscription. and add to that the fact that it’s actually much easier now to just sign up for a Creative Cloud subscription than to go through the often complex process of installing a pirated copy of software. Adobe’s David Wadhwani recently talked to Frederic about these aspects of piracy prevention, and said that that’s more where their energy is focused in terms of discouraging product theft, in fact.
Adobe has never played up or even talked much about the benefits of going with a subscription-based model for its creative suite products in terms of piracy prevention, so it’s hard to say specifically that that’s what they were trying and that those efforts have been thwarted with the rapid breaking of Photoshop CC’s DRM. But it’s worth an Ian Malcolm-esque “Piracy, uh, finds a way” to observe just how fruitless the subscription shift has been in terms of changing at least how easy it was to make Photoshop available to those who’d secure it by nefarious means.

The cloud might not be a cure-all, but Adobe’s right that it can build in additional, cloud-based functionality that will forever remain off-limits to pirates, and convenience is a huge factor for those who do have the money to pay for products like Photoshop but simply opt not to. The other big promise of CC is that it will be subject to frequent updates to address just do its (JDIs) to improve features and address nagging issues, and that kind of stuff might not make it through to pirated versions, so it’s early yet to say definitively what kind of impact going all-subscription will have on long-term piracy rates.

How to Easily Share Files Between your Mobile Phones and Computers

Your digital data – like files, photos, documents, music, ebooks and videos – is spread across a range of devices including your mobile phone, the tablet and your computer(s).

How do you easily transfer a file from the Android phone to your iPad? Or how do you copy-paste that long snippet of text from the computer to your iPhone? The following guide discusses apps, both web-based and mobile apps, that will help you exchanges files and everything else between your desktop computer and mobile devices easily and quickly.

The popular and most obvious solution for sharing files across devices is email. Send a file to yourself from one device and then download that email attachment on the other device. Alternatively, you may use file storage services like Dropbox, Google Drive or SkyDrive (read comparison) to transfer files from one device to another via the cloud.

Then there are web-based apps to help you move files between your computers and phones without any software. There’s ge.tt where you can upload files from the browser and download them on any other device. JustBeamIt is another web-based file transfer service where there are no limits as the file content is streamed directly from the source to the destination and not stored on third-party servers.

Google Keep is my favorite service for transferring text snippets from one device to another. You can write, or paste, text inside Keep and it instantly becomes available on all the other devices. Keep is web-based but they also have an Android app. I use Google Keep for transferring URLs from the desktop to mobile browser and also passwords that are too long and complex for typing on the mobile keyboard. Hopper and MoPad are other good web-based alternatives that can again be used for sending links and text snippets across devices.

If you are an Android user, AirDroid is probably the only app you’ll ever need for moving files in and out of your phone. Once you launch AirDroid, you can easily download (and upload) files and folders from the phone to your computer wirelessly via the web browser. The only restriction is that your phone and computer should be part of the same Wi-Fi network.

New Chrome browser is out

Google has released a new version of its Chrome browser for Windows, Mac, and Linux.
Armed with the catchy title of "version 27" the browser is apparently five percent faster at loading pages than earlier versions. Anyone who can spot a five percent speed increase without monitoring tools is probably imagining it, but it does show the level of programming skill that Google is throwing behind its new browser.
Firefox, on the other hand is getting slower than an asthmatic turtle on its way to a turtle soup convention while towing a VW beetle.
You can update to the latest release now using the browser's built-in silent updater, or download it directly from google.com/chrome.
The speed boost is down to improvements to behind-the-scenes resource scheduling, Google tells us. Starting with this release, the scheduler more aggressively uses an idle connection and demotes the priority of preloaded resources so that they don't interfere with critical assets. The last thing anyone wants is their critical assets interfered with.
The browser comes with something called the Sync FileSystem API, which is a new offline storage application programming interface for Chrome packaged apps which automatically synchronises stored data across clients via Google Drive.
The files are stored in private sandboxes and can be manipulated with the HTML5 File API and FileSystem API.
There are also a few other enhancements in this release including improved ranking of predictions, improved spell correction, and improvements for Omnibox predictions.
There are also the usual bug fixes, a new version of V8, and more than 14 security holes fixed -- 11 rated High, two marked Medium, and one considered Low.
You can download the thing here.

How to make money On Line.

Global Test Market is the best survey site on Internet among those I've come up with thus far.

I have worked with many other survey sites over the years but all I found that most of them are either scams or time-wasters or just cater to a selected group of countries. Most of the survey sites exploit the responder to the fullest and I'm not only talking about the scam survey sites.

There are many survey sites that doesn't pay cash. They make payments through gift cheques, gift vouchers or something similar to it. In this way they earn their commission from several sources, companies, stores or products at the expense of the members. One is forced to be content with the exorbitant waste of some useless junk filled store in exchange for months of honest work and long hours of concentration. Global Test Market on the other hand gives checks as rewards that can be used as per our wish and requirements.

Therefore I recommend Global Test Market to someone thinking of finding a trustworthy survey site on Internet and if that person is not from a selected group of countries that find favour with most survey sites then I think you should try out Global Test Market. I don't think they will disappoint you and you will get your payment in time as I've got.

Piktochart’s Latest Version Lets Users Make Search-Friendly Infographics

Love them or hate them, infographics are a potent marketing tool, especially on visually-oriented Web sites like Pinterest or Facebook. But using an image to present information often means losing out on SEO opportunities. Malaysia-based startup Piktochart seeks to bridge that gap with the launch today of its retooled Web-based app, which now allows users to create interactive, search-friendly infographics. New features enable hyperlinks to be inserted into each infographic, as well as multiple viewable tabs so users can add different layers of content. Infographics are created using Piktochart’s Web-based editor, which allows users to drag-and-drop text, images and icons. There are more than 100 themes available on the paid version of Piktochart that can be further customized by changing fonts, backgrounds and colors. Infographics and other presentation tools are hosted on the cloud and can be shared on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Pinterest directly from Piktochart. Since its launch in March 2012, over 5,000 small businesses and educational institutes have signed up for Piktochart Pro, says the company. The free version of the app has an additional 170,000 users. Piktochart received a $140,000 grant from the Malaysia government’s Cradle Fund in December. Prior to that, it was funded through Chinaccelerator.

Chasing the Right CMS: Joomla, Drupal or WordPress?

When choosing a CMS for your prospective website, it can be really tough to make a choice. It often boils down to the three most popular counterparts on the CMS market: Drupal, Joomla! and WordPress. They are so closely associated with each other that hearing one name you almost expect to hear the other two. What makes differentiating these CMSs so difficult is that they are all very similar, but only at the first sight. All of them are free and open source, which means you can get your copy for no cost and can modify it to your taste. But on the closer look, you realize these platforms are totally different. And this is the key point – if they’re different, they can’t be compared in general, like which one is better? It’s like comparing a pen, a pencil and a marker. These are writing tools, but are they the same? In case with the three CMSs in question, you can only define which one is better for your particular project or which one excels at doing a specific task.marketshareLooking at this research diagram from wp.smashingmagazine.com, the share of WordPress among the top 1 million websites is the greatest, the second prize goes to Joomla and Drupal is the third. What is the reason of the division like this? Let’s see! WordPress WordPress is famous for being very easy to install – 5 minutes is enough. If that’s so easy, no wonder so many people start their own website powered by WordPress. It is also known as the most easy-to-use CMS among the three. However, it doesn’t mean there’s no need to learn at all. It means that you can quickly get accustomed to using the backend and master the basics. Sure, becoming an advanced user requires time and efforts. WordPress also boasts the most available plugin and themes. This abundance attracts many users, taking into account that most of these plugins are free. These are the things WordPress is good at and which probably explain its popularity. Joomla! Joomla! is the type of CMS catering for different types of users – designers, developers and bloggers can employ it for building websites. While Joomla! possesses a bit steeper learning curve than that of WordPress, it also has multiple customisation opportunities and allows seamless integration of modules to extend the site with more features. It is a frequent choice for community websites, forums and websites with user donated content. Joomla! has robust design and branding features, which is why it is also used for company websites that require something exclusive as opposed to a number of freely distributed themes and design templates. Drupal The most common association connected with this CMS is that Drupal is designed for developers. The thing is, it features the steepest learning curve and is very difficult to use for a person with no previous experience and no coding skills. On the other hand, this complexity corresponds to the abundance of opportunities you get with this CMS – you can do virtually anything with your Drupal site, provided that you know how to use and configure it correctly. There’s no sense in selecting Drupal to run a small blog or a business-card website, it is the CMS of great possibilities. And this is the reason why it is not so extensively used. However, Drupal powers very complex sites like enterprise websites with different access levels and integrated advanced functionalities. In Conclusion In order to make the right choice, don’t go for popularity or exclusiveness. Consider the factors that matter most for your future website, carefully weigh your knowledge, your desire to learn more and the growth prospects. In case you’ve previously made your choice and would like to change your existing CMS software for something better suited to your demands, with CMS2CMS online migration service your switch will be as accurate and swift as possible with no expenses on your side. Register your account and you’ll see how easy CMS changes can be! For more details concerning automated CMS migration, visit www.cms2cms.com.

Facebook's Promoted Tool explained...

This month Facebook introduced a new promotional tool called Promoted Posts. This tool allows Facebook Fan Page owners with at least 400 fans (but no more than 100,000 fans) the option to expose their posted content to more of their fans. Why Facebook Promoted Posts? Typically, when page administrators post content (text, a link, photo, deal or video) to their Facebook timeline, the content only reaches a fraction of their page’s fans. On NewBedfordGuide.com’s Facebook page, our posted content typically reaches 20-30% of of our fans. With over 5,000 fans, we typically reach 1,000 – 1,500 of our 5,000 fans. This limited reach can be attributed to several reasons. First, not all of your fans are on Facebook every day and may not play catch up by scrolling through hours or days of past posts on their feed. Second, some believe that Facebook limits your content reach for various reasons. Regardless of the reason your content is not reaching fans, this new Facebook Promoted Post tool allows you to pay a price to “bump” your content to the top of your fans’ walls. For more Plz follow the link below :- http://www.newbedfordguide.com/facebooks-promoted-posts/2012/06/19

Facebook launches Facebook Gifts for users to buy friends real gifts through mobile and desktop

Facebook today officially launches Facebook Gifts in a limited test for U.S. users to buy products for their friends through the social network’s desktop or mobile versions. Gifts seems to follow the format used by Karma, a mobile gift-giving service that Facebook acquired in May. As with Karma, users can send their friends gifts without knowing their address. After a user chooses a gift, the recipient is notified and he or she can indicate where the gift should be sent. The recipient also has the option to swap the gift for another of equal or lesser value. The difference between Facebook Gifts and Karma, which is still available as a standalone app for iOS, is that Facebook Gifts has a desktop component. Users can send gifts directly from birthday reminders or from friends’ timelines. They can post a preview of the gift on a friend’s timeline or send it privately.

Drupal Software

Drupal is free, open source software that can be used by individuals or groups of users -- even those lacking technical skills -- to easily create and manage many types of Web sites. The application includes a content management platform and a development framework.
Types of sites that Drupal can be used for include:
Drupal is written in the PHP programming language. The software is ready-to-use upon download and also includes a Web-based installer and add on modules. The software supports content management, collaborative authoring, newsletters, podcasts, image galleries, peer-to-peer networking, file uploads/downloads and more.
Drupal originated as a bulletin board system developed by Dries Buytaert in the Netherlands, and became an Open Source project in 2001. When establishing his original Drop.org Website, Buytaert wanted to call the site "dorp" ("village" in Dutch), but made a typo when checking the domain name, and decided the altered form sounded better (Drupal is a transliteration of the Dutch "druppel" which means droplet). Drupal has been downloaded over a million times and is the focus of a large development community.
Drupal is offered under a General Public License (GPL).

5 ways to like Facebook Pages...

5 Ways to Get More Facebook Likes

You have to be everywhere your customers are, including Facebook. Here are some easy ways to rack up those "likes."
It's time to shutter your Facebook shop
Flickr/GOIABA (Goiabarea)

If you don't already know by now, I'm a big believer that social media can help grow a business. But I often still get some pushback from people and customers who are hesitant to jump in.
Here are two of my favorite excuses.

"I'm afraid I'm going to overexpose my business to my customers. Won't that happen?"

Here's how I answer that:
  • If you communicate with your customers through email marketing, 20% to 30% of your email recipients will open your message--if you're lucky.
  • Probably only a few percent of your customers have liked your Facebook page.
  • If your "likers" have a lot of friends or are following a lot of Facebook pages, your message in their news feed may have passed them by.
My point? It's not overexposure. You have to be everywhere your customers are as much as you can!

"Getting people to 'like' me sounds pathetic."

In reality, it's not that much different from asking people to give you their email address or asking for their business card. And the more people that you've got exposed to your message where they want to see it, the better.
Why do you want more Facebook likes?
  • When someone likes your business, that action will show up in his or her news feed.
  • When you post something, it could show up in your liker's news feed (depending on how engaging your content is and how they have their feed set up).
  • It could show up in the ad to your liker's friends when you use Facebook ads.
How do you get more Facebook likes? Here are a few ideas:

1. Facebook Ads

It's pretty simple to walk through and doesn't cost much at all. Even better, you control how much you want to spend.

2. "Like-gate" With a Coupon

Send an email campaign offering a link to a killer coupon with a "like-gate." What's a like-gate? It's when the customers click on the link to the coupon and they're brought to a screen on Facebook that simply asks them to "like us" to get the coupon. (I recommend using VerticalResponse Social or Sprout Social for this.)

3. Like-gate With a Contest

Do the same as above, but with a contest for customers to win something they'll really value. (I recommend using North Social or Wildfire by Google for this.)

4. Email

Send an email message to your email list asking them to like your page.

5. Message Your Personal Facebook Friends

Send a Facebook message to your Facebook friends (within Facebook) asking them to like your page (be strategic, because you can only send one request).
Getting more likes for your Facebook page should just be a part of your overall social media marketing mix!

Sensor Technolgy that identifies Person's Veins.

Passwords for online banking, social networks and email could be replaced with the wave of a hand if prototype technology developed by Intel makes it to tablets and laptops.
Aiming to do away with the need to remember passwords for growing numbers of online services, Intel researchers have put together a tablet with new software and a biometric sensor that recognizes the unique patterns of veins on a person's palm.
"The problem with passwords -- we use too many of them, their rules are complex, and they differ for different websites," Sridhar Iyengar, director of security research at Intel Labs, said at the annual Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco on Thursday. "There is a way out of it, and biometrics is an option."
Iyengar demonstrated the technology, qu
ckly waving his hand in front of a tablet but not touching it. Once the tablet recognizes a user, it can securely communicate that person's identity to banks, social networks and other services where the person has accounts, he said.
Making laptops, tablets and smartphones responsible for identifying users would take that requirement away from individual websites and do away with the need to individually enter passwords into each of them, Iyengar said.
"We plan to work with service providers to take full advantage of this," he said.

Pay Roll Software from SoFTEASY

The Software manages the salary and wages of your workers and staff along with its advanced features.
The Software automatically takes care of its functionality which one has to undergo manually otherwise like counting of OT salary as per the attendance lists and calclating the number of days presentas per his salary defined in the master of employees.

The whole software stands on the attendance slip where you can plug in the third party hardwares like flash machines for the attendance, swapping of the cards etc. The software updates the information and gives the clear and brief reports from those machines, means to say it can get synchronized from any external output devices.
